Price and Performance narrows down to two main companies for supplying cheap, quality keyboards; Alesis and Akai.
Alesis V25 – $89
The Alesis V25 comes in first having 8 pads to accompany its 25 customizable keys. The keyboard has killer blue LEDS which I am a personal fan of. Definitely recommend this keyboard to any upcoming music producer or engineer.
Akai MPK Mini – $99
The Akai MPK Mini is a little more expensive, comes right up to $100, but it still provides the quality of any pro keyboard. If you are familiar with USB keyboards, you’ve probably seen, worked on, or own an Akai MPK Mini.
Akai LPK25 – $57
The Akai LPK25 is an extra in here because I have not personally worked with it, but it has an awesome price, and four stars. So it’s probably worth a buy.
